Terms of Service

​By commissioning artwork or owning a design created by @ctmlkusa (“the Artist”), you (“the Client”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms of Service outlined below.

 

Failure to comply with these terms may result in blacklisting and/or the issuance of a Public Service Announcement (PSA). Please note that the Terms of Service are subject to change at any time without prior notice, though reasonable exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.

These terms apply strictly to personal, non-commercial use, unless commercial rights are expressly purchased.

Commercial Rights

The purchase of commercial usage rights is available at 300% of the original price.

With commercial rights, the Client may:

​

• Use the artwork for merchandise (e.g., prints, apparel).

• Include it in books, covers, promotional material, and branding.

• Edit or alter the artwork as needed for commercial purposes.

• ​

Credit to the Artist (@ctmlkusa) is still required, even if the artwork is modified or partially altered.

 

General Terms

• Mutual respect between the Artist and Client is expected throughout the commissioning process.

• Commissions are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

• The Artist reserves the right to decline any commission that is deemed inappropriate, uncomfortable, or beyond their current skill level.

• Commissioned artwork is for personal use only, except for approved 2D VTuber models.

• Personal use includes icons, profile pictures, and reposts, with proper credit to the Artist (e.g., @ctmlkusa on Twitter or Instagram).

• Clients may not claim the artwork as their own, nor remove or edit out the Artist’s signature or watermark.

Payment & Process

• Full payment is required upfront. No exceptions.

• Accepted payment method: PayPal invoice only.

• Clients must provide clear references, including visual details, pose, and desired expression. Failure to provide adequate references may result in rejection of the commission.

• A rough sketch will be delivered within 24 hours to 3 days after payment. Once the sketch is approved, the Artist will proceed with the final piece.

• Completion time varies from 1 to 2 weeks, with a maximum of 1 to 2 months in cases of health-related delays.

• Revisions:

  • Up to 3 small revisions are permitted during the sketching phase.

  • Major changes after sketch approval may incur an additional fee (25% of the original price).

  • Highly detailed or complex requests may result in an extra fee (+$10 to $20 or more, depending on complexity).

Delivery & Usage

• Final commissioned artwork will be delivered digitally in PNG, JPG, and Transparent PNG formats.

• No physical products will be shipped.

• Artwork will be sent via a Google Drive link, which the Client may access directly.

• The Artist may feature completed commissions (with watermarks) in portfolios or on social media unless the Client explicitly requests otherwise.

 

Refund Policy

Refunds are not accepted, except in rare circumstances where the Artist is unable to complete the commission due to unforeseen issues.
